Substitute Child Care Staff Service

How does it work

Childcare Connect Montana links fully trained, quality substitutes with local child care programs.

Becoming a child care substitute is perfect for college students, retired persons, former child care providers, school teachers or anyone interested in providing quality child care and education and wants flexible hours.

Substitutes are vital so that providers can attend professional development training, get paperwork done, avoid the 5:30am scramble when someone calls off, and take a much deserved vacation!

Become a Sub

Make a difference in Montana’s Children’s lives by becoming a child care substitute!

Passionate about working with children and want to set your own wage and hours? You are able to accept the shifts that work best for your schedule.

No prior child care experience is needed. You will be compensated for all required training hours and orientation.

The service is all online and automated to save you time!
  1. Child care programs post open shifts.
  2. Once posted, substitute requests are immediately sent to qualified and trained substitutes in the area.
  3. Programs are notified when substitutes apply and then can review their bio, qualifications, etc. before choosing the best sub for them.
