Central MT Farm-to-School Workshop

Attending this workshop is a perfect way to launch or grow a farm-to-school program as it provides an easy framework to follow and ready-to-use materials for your program. This workshop will feature training on how to use Harvest of the Month to promote Montana grown and raised foods in your community, interactive agricultural education activities, local procurement and what resources are available to you. Attendees will hear from the ranchers and school staff members who created Winnett’s super successful beef to school program. Along with trainings and presentations, there will be time for networking and taste testing local foods. Lunch will be provided.
