April Invoices and Co-payments

Child Care Providers and Families participating in Best Beginnings Scholarship program

To support families on the Best Beginnings Child Care Scholarship and child care providers providing services to these families, the scholarship will pay the entire authorized amount for each child who is attending a child care program, or has been absent from the provider since 3/12/2020. Please note that the scholarship can only pay one provider. If a child began attending a new provider on or after 3/12/2020, only the current provider where the children are attending, will be paid for child care.

Families – March, April, and May 2020 co-pays have been waived for every scholarship family!

  • This includes TANF, Non-TANF, and Working Caretaker families
  • Co-payments from $10 and up have all been waived
  • If you paid your March co-payment, please work with your child care provider about reimbursement or future co-payments being considered paid in advance
  • You will get a letter from your eligibility worker once March co-payments have been repaired since most March invoices have been paid
  • Your child care provider will also get a letter when we repair March co-payments
  • When April and May invoices are paid and adjusted to pay the co-payment, parents and providers will get separate letters each time
  • Questions – please contact your eligibility worker

  • In the Comments, write “Open, Absent, COVID-19.”

For child care providers that have closed for an extended period and are not currently caring for children, please do the following:
