Creativity and the Young Child: Exploring the Reggio Emilia and Project Approach

Are you looking for undergraduate credits or do you need to update your teaching or CDA certificate? The University of Montana Western is offering a 3 semester credit, one-week long institute this summer which explores Reggio Emilia and the project approach. Instructors Cathy Jackson and Ann Klaas will show you how to develop and implement curriculum using methodolgies from Reggio Emilia and the project approach.
The class will run from Sunday July 22 through Friday July 27th and will take place at Birch Creek Outdoor Education Center, 20 miles northwest of Dillon. In addition to the tuition and book costs, a fee of $330 is required which includes five nights’ lodging at the Birch Creek Center and meals.
