One of the most difficult parts of working with young children is dealing with challenging behaviors, but we can help!
The Center on the Social Emotional Foundation for Early Learning (CSEFEL), which is also known as The Pyramid Model, is a national resource center for disseminating research and evidence-based practices to early childhood programs across the country. CSEFEL is focused on promoting the social emotional development and school readiness of young children birth to age 5. To support this goal, they have developed evidence-based practices for promoting young children’s social emotional competence and preventing and addressing challenging behavior.
Family Connections offers trainings on CSEFEL/The Pyramid Model. These classes are required of STARS participants, but are open to all providers looking for skills and resources to help the children in their care be more successful.
Our next CSEFEL/The Pyramid Model training will be Family/Group Module 1 on July 16th and 17th. Click here to register for this, or other upcoming classes. If you’d like more information about CSEFEL/The Pyramid, check out their website!
